[Even If It’s Raining Outside, Let’s Go Out!] Check out a video of the toughest course at this wildly popular adventure park, which closes on October 12!
It came to an end—though with much regret—during the three-day weekend in October!

“Appare! Sengoku Great Adventure!” is a popular giant adventure course located in the “Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park” attraction area at Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park’s “Nijigen no Mori” Anime Park. A renovation of the area has been announced for spring 2027, and so Monday, October 12, 2026 (a national holiday) will be the last day of operation for the current adventure course and zip line . There are only 15 days left to enjoy the current adventure course and zip line!
*Please note that the “Nobori no Hara” area, which includes Futaba Kindergarten and other facilities, is scheduled to remain open as usual after Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Today, from the hugely popular giant adventure course “Appare! Sengoku Great Adventure!,” we’re bringing you a video featuring the “Samurai Commander Course”—the most challenging advanced course, set 8 meters above the ground—for all of you who can’t go outside even if you want to because of the rain!
① Board Bridge & Mountain Bridge
The first element on the advanced course is the “Board Bridge.” You might think it’s easy since the platform is quite sturdy, but just being 8 meters high might make it feel challenging…!? Waiting for you next is the “Mountain Bridge,” where you’ll cross a sloped platform. The platform at the highest point sways quite a bit, so don’t forget to hold on tight to the ropes on either side!
② Multi-Bine Bungee
Next up is the tightrope-walking zone, “Multi-Bine Bungee”! Grab your safety rope firmly and move caaautiously along the sturdy wire! Obstacles are hanging along the course, so the key to success is skillfully dodging them while holding the safety rope as high as possible and taking small steps to maintain your balance!
③ Double Bridge & UFO Steps
Ahead lies the “Two-Bridge,” where two narrow platforms run parallel to each other. Be sure to place your feet right in the center so you don’t slip! The “UFO Steps” beyond that are an unstable obstacle consisting of just two disc-shaped platforms suspended on either side! Here, too, the key is to proceed in the order “foot” → “hand” → “hand” → “foot”! At this height, even a slight crosswind makes for quite a thrill! 💦
④ Horizontal Swing
On the intermediate-level course, the swings are positioned perpendicular to the direction of travel, while on the advanced course, they’re rotated 90° to run parallel to the direction of travel—these are called “sideways swings.” This alone makes the course significantly more challenging!
Once you’re on the swing, grip the ropes firmly with both hands and use your feet to pull the next swing toward you as you move forward! Since there’s a height difference between the third and fourth swings, proceed carefully to keep your balance!
⑤ Gondola
Next up is the “gondola”! Pull the blue rope on the landing, and the gondola suspended in the air will come to pick you up. Once you’ve pulled it close enough, grab the rope and hop on!Before you start, don’t forget to switch the rope you’re holding from behind you to in front of you!
If the gondola stops along the way, grab the rope stretched between the landings to move forward!
⑥ U-Shaped Rope & Swing Carpet
Ahead of you is a U-shaped rope scaffold! The trick is to pull the next rope toward you with one foot before grabbing it with both hands! It’s easier to cross the scaffold one foot at a time!
The “swinging carpet” that comes next looks easy, but since you’re already tired by this point, don’t let your guard down! Make sure to cross steadily to the center of the platform!
⑦Rings
This is probably the toughest part of the advanced course! You’ll have to step through unstable rings suspended by a single rope each as you make your way forward!
Since the rings sway in every direction—forward, backward, left, and right—a moment’s lapse in concentration could be fatal! Sometimes you’ll even need to swing your body to close the gap to the next foothold? If you hold onto the same rope with both hands, it’ll be much harder to move forward, so work up the courage to reach for the next rope one hand at a time!
