What is “Dragon Quest Island”?

A field RPG attraction that blends the real and digital worlds to bring the “Dragon Quest” universe to life.

Participants in the attraction will become the protagonists of their own stories as they follow the original storyline, and through their adventures, they can fully immerse themselves in the world of “Dragon Quest.”

In addition to the main quest to find the Golden Bracelet and the side quest “Take on Kandata’s Mischief Mission!,” new side quests have been added, allowing you to enjoy an original story.

Stay in the Dragon Quest collaboration room “Slime Cocoon”!

Guests will receive original-design yukata available exclusively here, an original photo frame awarded upon completing the mission to collect the “tiny medals” hidden in their rooms, a fruit platter decorated with “Slimes,” and admission tickets to “Dragon Quest Island.”

The room is adorned with a wide variety of character-themed decorations—from the “Slime” monster featured in the game to “Homilot,” an original character from *Dragon Quest Island*, and the “Onion Slime” monster—covering the walls, windows, and the entire space. It’s also packed with playful touches, such as original slime-shaped pendant lights and treasure chests!

The interior of the “Slime Cocoon ” is based on a “modern Japanese” style and features simple yet elegant traditional Japanese patterns.

Amid the soothing color palette that permeates the entire room, monsters from *Dragon Quest* are artfully incorporated into the design, creating a space that captivates with its wonderful fusion of Japanese tradition and fantasy.

Overview of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”

Since 2008, the Pasona Group has been collaborating with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, working on a unique regional revitalization project by attracting a diverse range of talent. In 2013, the “Awaji Manga and Anime Island Project” was selected as one of the “Private Business Proposals for Awajishima Prefectural Park” projects that Hyogo Prefecture publicly solicited. The group is now working with Hyogo Prefecture to revitalize the region by attracting new tourists, taking advantage of the magnificent natural beauty of the 134.8 hectare prefectural park.
