What is Nijigen no Mori?
Cool Japan x Nature x Technology

Japanese anime, manga, and games have become world-renowned genres. This all-Japanese anime park allows you to experience the world of these “2D contents” using all five senses and moving your body. Think of it as a place where screens and paper spread across an entire forest. Utilizing technology, attractions make you feel as if you’re inside the works, and activities that follow the worldview of 2D contents, adding “new value” to anime and other Cool Japan contents, providing a one-of-a-kind “2D experience.”
Enjoy different experiences during the day and at night!

Nijigen no Mori’s appearance changes depending on the time of day. During the day, families can get moving and enjoy the park’s fusion of Awaji Island’s rich nature and two-dimensional content, and the attractions that sometimes get you screaming are waiting for you. At night, on the other hand, you can enjoy “content that can only be enjoyed at night,” such as light-ups and projection mapping. Making the most of the outdoor environment, the park has two different faces, day and night.
Please come in comfortable clothing.

Depending on the season, hydrangeas and cherry blossoms bloom at Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park, and you can sometimes see rare migratory birds and fireflies. This is a place rich in nature, with the nostalgic scenery of the Satoyama countryside, a region that has existed since ancient times in Japan. The park is huge, boasting an area roughly the size of 28 Tokyo Domes, so it would take an adult male over 40 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Furthermore, some areas are like hiking trails, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
It is located in Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park!
Awaji Island is famous for its onions, but it’s also home to many surprising delicacies, such as the fact that Kobe beef originated from Awaji Island’s Awaji Beef. Furthermore, the opening passage of the Kojiki, “Awaji, the Island of Creation: The Activities of the Seamen Who Supported the Ancient Nation,” was designated a Japan Heritage Site in 2016, making it a highly sought-after destination. Nijigen no Mori is located within Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park, which connects Awaji Island with Honshu in Hyogo Prefecture. This location is actually incredibly accessible. Accessible directly from the Honshu-Shikoku Expressway and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, as well as direct buses from Kobe, Osaka, and Kansai International Airport, it’s easier than you’d think by car or public transport! We also offer a decorated bus, so please come and visit Nijigen no Mori.
