The Sky series is back!
The remake of “Dragon Quest Island: The Ancient Demon and the Guided Adventurers” is scheduled to be held in April 2026.

Decision to hold the event

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the “Dragon Quest” series and the 5th anniversary of “Dragon Quest Island,” the hugely popular attraction “Dragon Quest Island,” located within the Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park anime park “Nijigen no Mori,” will be hosting a remake of the attraction, “Dragon Quest Island: The Ancient Demon and the Guided Adventurers,” starting in April 2026.

This remake features a brand new “subquest” section! In addition to the currently available “Challenge from Kandata!”, the new subquests offer an original story. This attraction, which has been well-received as a field RPG that allows you to experience the world of “Dragon Quest” in a realistic way, thanks to the fusion of realistic structures such as castles, castle towns, forests, and temples with technology, is also appealing because the updated storyline allows you to experience a completely different story. It is an attraction that fans who love the “Dragon Quest” games will want to visit again and again.

We are also planning a pre-closing campaign for the currently running re-release of “Dragon Quest Island: The Great Demon Lord Zoma and the Island of Beginnings.” Details will be announced at a later date. Only at Nijigen no Mori can you immerse yourself in the world of the series through games and attractions! Open the door to a new adventure with your friends!
