Due to popular demand, the second event will be held at Nijigen no Mori!

Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit is a cosplay event hosted by the World Cosplay Summit , set at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture . Following the success of the first event, the second event will be held next week on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

While keeping the spirit of the Nagoya World Cosplay Summit, where cosplayers from all over the world gather, an immersive photo shoot experience that will take you into the world of the work will be realized in the anime x technology x natural space unique to Awaji Island .

You can take photos in Nijigen no Mori’s most famous areas, including the vast grassy plaza, Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, Naruto & Boruto Shinobi Village, Godzilla Intercept Operation , and Dragon Quest Island .

Overview of the 2nd “Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awakos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit”

This is the second time the event has been held, and in order to allow as many customers as possible to enjoy “cosplay” itself, we have prepared several types of participation tickets. In addition to the “Cosplayer Ticket” which allows access to dedicated indoor changing rooms, we have also prepared a “Photography/General Ticket” for those who just want to take photos and interact with cosplayers. You can freely enter and exit each attraction area of ​​Nijigen no Mori and enjoy the great outdoors, an immersive world view, and the infinite possibilities of your favorite costumes and makeup all day long.

Special Project

“2nd Awacos Memorial Group Photo & Awacos Exchange Gathering”
A special event will be held for participants at Morino Terrace, a restaurant inside Nijigen no Mori.
<Interaction space>
This is a special event for ticketed participants. We have prepared a social space where participants can come and go freely. You can enjoy interacting with other participants while taking a break in a warm place.
<Group photo and social gathering>
At the designated time, we will hold a group photo with all participants and a social gathering with guest players.
*Ticket purchasers will be notified separately regarding the time and details of the group photo and social gathering.

Since 2008, the Pasona Group has been collaborating with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, working on a unique regional revitalization project by attracting a diverse range of talent. In 2013, the “Awaji Manga and Anime Island Project” was selected as one of the “Private Business Proposals for Awajishima Prefectural Park” projects that Hyogo Prefecture publicly solicited.
