In October 2020, Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park "Nijigen no Mori" opened an attraction called "Operation Godzilla Intercept - National Awajishima Godzilla Research Center," where Japan's world-famous Godzilla appears in a life-size figure measuring approximately 120 meters in length and visitors can enjoy zip lines, shooting games, and more. The park will celebrate its 5th anniversary in 2025.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of "Operation Godzilla Intercept: National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center," we are opening a new Godzilla collaboration room, the "Showa Toho Monster Reference Room," at the official Nijigen no Mori villa, "GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°." The collaboration room is a space where you can truly experience Godzilla's history, featuring a three-dimensional display of the weapons used to fight Godzilla in Toho's special effects films from the Showa era, as well as reproductions of scripts, storyboards, and sketches. Furthermore, the room is decorated with a "Showa Retro" motif, featuring low tables and cushions, enamel signs with monster names, and shoji-style blackout curtains, allowing you to fully enjoy Showa Retro alongside the monsters.
In addition, there will be a variety of exclusive collaboration room novelties and special benefits. In addition to an admission ticket to "Operation Godzilla Counterattack," guests will also receive a synthetic leather coaster engraved with Godzilla from "Operation Godzilla Counterattack," and an art board with a design drawing of King Ghidorah, Godzilla's greatest nemesis who first appeared in "The Greatest Battle on Earth."

Let's stay at "Monster Land"!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of "Godzilla," we will open "Monster Land," a Godzilla collaboration room where monsters that have appeared in past "Godzilla" movies gather together, on Friday, December 12st.
The main room features interior decorations and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and popular monsters, a portion of a full-sized Godzilla that can be seen through the window, and special processing that changes the way it looks when illuminated with light. This room allows you to enjoy a different interior atmosphere at night.
You can also enjoy limited novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks decorated with posters of past Godzilla movies.

Overview of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”

Since 2008, Pasona Group has collaborated with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been working on its own regional revitalization project by attracting various human resources. In 2013, the "Awaji Manga/Anime Island Project" was adopted as part of the "Private Business Planning and Proposal for Prefectural Awajishima Park" publicly invited by Hyogo Prefecture. Together with Hyogo Prefecture, we are promoting regional revitalization projects by attracting tourists.
