Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park "Nijigen no Mori" is holding two events in collaboration with the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" for a limited time until Sunday, December 14, 2025!
Today, for those of you who are wondering about the cost of transportation to Awajishima, we will introduce a recommended plan for enjoying your trip from Tokyo using an overnight bus, which is reasonably priced (on some days it can be less than half the price of the Shinkansen!)!

If you take the night bus operated by West Japan JR Bus, you can get from Tokyo Station to Kobe Sannomiya! Head to the large JR Bus Terminal at the Yaesu South Exit!
07:47 Arrived at Kobe Sannomiya Bus Terminal
We arrived in Kobe! The bus terminal is on the first floor of a shopping mall called Mint Kobe. There's about an hour until the bus to Awajishima leaves, so we had breakfast at a nearby convenience store or cafe!

From here, it's a 40-minute bus ride! Enjoy the view from the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge along the way!
09:49 Arrive at Nijigen no Mori (Awaji Highway Oasis)
Welcome to Nijigen no Mori! There are bus stops on both the east and west sides of Nijigen no Mori, and this is the east bus stop! The reception for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime collaboration event is about a 10-minute walk away! Come and enjoy the two collaboration events, day and night!

20:30 Depart from Awajishima Prefectural Park (Nijigen no Mori F Parking Lot)
Did you enjoy your night walk? At this time of day, there are no direct buses from Nijigen no Mori to Kobe, so you'll need to take a bus and train to get back!
From the finish point of the Night Walk, take the free shuttle bus to Nijigen no Mori F Parking Lot, and from there board the express bus "Kita Awaji West Coast Line"!
20:44 Arrived at Maiko Expressway
It's a 13-minute bus ride to the final stop, "Express Maiko." After getting off, follow the signs and walk 5 minutes to JR Maiko Station!
21:00 Depart from JR Maiko Station
Take the train from JR Maiko Station to Sannomiya Station, in the heart of Kobe. It takes about 25 minutes by local train, and about 20 minutes by rapid train!

When you arrive at JR Sannomiya Station, leave from the Central Exit or East Exit! Follow the signs to the bus terminal and you'll see the bus stop you used on the way there in about 5 minutes!

About the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"
The series is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has sold over 1 million copies across volumes 23-1 of Shueisha's Jump Comics. The animation is produced by ufotable. The story begins with Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, back into a human. The TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" began airing in April 5000, followed by the movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2019. From 4 to 2020, the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train," "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Entertainment District Arc," "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Swordsmith Village Arc," and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Pillar Training Arc" will be broadcast and streamed. The world of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is recreated in the great outdoors of Nijigen no Mori.
Participants will be able to enjoy the world of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" through two events, one in the day and one in the evening.
①【Night Event】Nijigen no Mori x Anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" "Night Walk: The Path to the Infinite Castle"
While walking 1.2 km through the night forest, participants can experience the world of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" recreated with projection mapping and other techniques. Participants will relive the battles between Tanjiro Kamado and the pillars of the series from "Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc" to "Pillar Training Arc" that have been animated so far, and will be tasked with gathering information for the upcoming battle against Kibutsuji Muzan. Original novelty items will be presented at the finish line.
② [Daytime event] Nijigen no Mori x Anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" "Mystery Solving Walk: Flower-Falling Village and Phantom Demon Tour"
You can enjoy a puzzle-solving game while walking around an area decorated with character panels featuring original illustrations by ufotable that are exclusive to Nijigen no Mori.
This time, original illustration panels of eight demons will be featured for the first time. Participants who get lost in the fantasy world will have to solve the mystery of the demons in the park and try to escape from the fantasy. As a participation bonus, you will receive an original badge exclusive to the collaboration event.

Since 2008, Pasona Group has collaborated with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been working on its own regional revitalization project by attracting various human resources.
