Cosplayers from all over the world will gather at Nijigen no Mori! "Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit" will be held at Nijigen no Mori on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Nijigen no Mori, an anime park located within Nijigen no Mori Anime Awajishima Park on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, where you can experience the world of 2D content such as anime, games, and movies, has decided to cooperate as the event venue for Awajishima COSPLAY ~Awacos~ Powered by World Cosplay Summit, a cosplay event organized by WCS Co., Ltd., which organizes the World Cosplay Summit every year to determine the No. 1 cosplayer, with the aim of promoting interaction between cosplayers from Japan and around the world and increasing awareness of Japanese 2D content.
This event is being held in cooperation with the World Cosplay Summit, a large-scale event that brings together cosplayers from all over the world, and will allow you to enjoy cosplay in a space that recreates the world of Nijigen content using nature and technology, provided by the anime park "Nijigen no Mori." Photographs will be allowed in the "Large Lawn Square," which is filled with vast nature, as well as in each attraction: "Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park," "NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi Village," "Godzilla Intercept Operation," and "Dragon Quest Island"!
Surrounded by nature, this can only be recreated on Awaji Island, so enjoy an unforgettable day as you immerse yourself in a scene from that work or character, and become the person you admire!

About "Nijigen no Mori Anime Awajishima Park"

It's only a five minute journey from Kobe to Awajishima, crossing the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge! In the midst of the magnificent natural surroundings of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park, which boasts an area the size of 28 Tokyo Domes, you'll find a new type of anime park that uses IT technology to deliver a Nijigen experience that "anyone can get engrossed in."
There are various attractions available where you can enjoy "Nijigen Content" such as anime, manga, and games, which Japan is proud of around the world, with all five senses.
Enjoy the worldview of the originals, which are recreated from popular content both in Japan and overseas, such as "Dragon Quest," "Godzilla," the "NARUTO" series, and "Crayon Shin-chan," as well as experiential attractions where you can play with your whole body in the great outdoors.

About the World Cosplay Summit

The World Cosplay Summit (WCS) is one of the world's largest cosplay events, first held in Nagoya in 2003. Currently, over 40 countries and regions participate, bringing together representative cosplayers from around the world in Japan. Held mainly in Nagoya, at venues such as Sakae Oasis 21, Osu Shopping Arcade, and the Aichi Arts Center, the event promotes "international exchange through cosplay" that transcends borders, languages, and cultures. The 23rd WCS will be held in 2025, and the event continues to evolve as a global pop culture festival.
