A hot topic on Awaji Island this summer! What is "Splash Godzilla"?

     

The summer-only special event "Splash Godzilla" will be held again this year at the hugely popular attraction "Godzilla Intercept Operation" at the anime park "Nijigen no Mori" on Awaji Island!

Summer in Japan is getting hotter every year. Godzilla's body temperature is also rising during his inactivity, so to cool him down, a giant water cannon is fired! Visitors who run on a zip line directly underneath Godzilla also get soaked from head to toe, making this a very popular event every year!

This evolved version of the "tactile attraction" will make you scream, get wet, and laugh, and it's extremely exhilarating.

Accommodation “GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°” collaboration room
Let's stay at "Monster Land"!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of "Godzilla," we will open "Monster Land," a Godzilla collaboration room where monsters that have appeared in past "Godzilla" movies gather together, on Friday, December 12st.
The main room features interior decorations and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and popular monsters, a portion of a full-sized Godzilla that can be seen through the window, and special processing that changes the way it looks when illuminated with light. This room allows you to enjoy a different interior atmosphere at night.
You can also enjoy limited novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks decorated with posters of past Godzilla movies.

Overview of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”

Since 2008, Pasona Group has collaborated with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been working on its own regional revitalization project by attracting various human resources. In 2013, the "Awaji Manga/Anime Island Project" was adopted as part of the "Private Business Planning and Proposal for Prefectural Awajishima Park" publicly invited by Hyogo Prefecture. Together with Hyogo Prefecture, we are promoting regional revitalization projects by attracting tourists.
