The hugely popular attraction "Godzilla Intercept Operation" at Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park "Nijigen no Mori" will be hosting a winter-only event "Awaji GODZILLA Festival 2024 in Winter" is being held! If you enter "Godzilla Intercept Operation" with a premium ticket during the event period, you can try your hand at four traditional Japanese games, and depending on your results, you might even win some great prizes!

If you purchase a premium ticket, in addition to the regular attractions, you can try out the following four special games! Depending on your results, you might even win some limited edition Japanese-style Godzilla merchandise!

1. Bow and Arrow Challenge

"Godzilla Intercept Operation" Shoot your bow at a specially made giant panel! Just like the samurai who intercepted Godzilla when he first landed on Awaji Island! Get points depending on where you hit!

2. Tosenkyo Game

"Tosenkyo" is a traditional Japanese game. You hold the fan horizontally in an open position and throw it to hit a target a little ways away! If it's tilted even a little, it won't fly the way you expect it to! Can you hit the Godzilla figure reigning on the base?!

3. Kendama Game

Nowadays, "Kendama" has many players all over the world! You can try your hand at tricks using the kendama, which is synonymous with Japanese play, and if you succeed, you will get points!

Accommodation “GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°” collaboration room
Let's stay at "Monster Land"!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of "Godzilla," we will open "Monster Land," a Godzilla collaboration room where monsters that have appeared in past "Godzilla" movies gather together, on Friday, December 12st.
The main room features interior decorations and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and popular monsters, a portion of a full-sized Godzilla that can be seen through the window, and special processing that changes the way it looks when illuminated with light. This room allows you to enjoy a different interior atmosphere at night.
You can also enjoy limited novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks decorated with posters of past Godzilla movies.

Overview of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”

Since 2008, Pasona Group has collaborated with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been working on its own regional revitalization project by attracting various human resources. In 2013, the "Awaji Manga/Anime Island Project" was adopted as part of the "Private Business Planning and Proposal for Prefectural Awajishima Park" publicly invited by Hyogo Prefecture. Together with Hyogo Prefecture, we are promoting regional revitalization projects by attracting tourists.
