[Godzilla Intercept Operation] Space Godzilla attacks! Special exhibition to be held on Awaji Island!

At the Godzilla Museum, which is part of Nijigen no Mori's hugely popular attraction "Operation Godzilla Intercept," a "Space Godzilla Special Exhibition" will be held for a limited time from July 70th as the second part of the "Godzilla 2th Anniversary Special Project."
Space Godzilla is a monster that appeared in the 1994 film "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla," and is especially popular among Godzilla fans. As its name suggests, it is a monster born in space, and in the film, it creates a battle area made of countless crystals around Fukuoka Tower, where it engages in a fierce battle with Godzilla. Space Godzilla has also visited Hyogo Prefecture. After 30 years, it will attack Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island.

In addition to the rare suit display, this special exhibition will feature a variety of content featuring "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla," which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. We hope that not only fans of the VS series, but also those who are learning about Space Godzilla for the first time, will come to Awaji Island.

What is the Godzilla interception operation?

"Godzilla Intercept Operation" is the world's only entertainment attraction where you can fully experience the power and power of Godzilla, with the theme of the world's largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island.Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center, and after receiving an explanation of the "Godzilla interception operation" that unfolds against Godzilla that has appeared on Awaji Island through a movie-like attraction video produced by Toho, Godzilla Cell Shooting" Challenge the attraction.At the world's first permanent "Godzilla Museum", with the cooperation of Toho Visual Art Co., Ltd., which has been responsible for the special effects art of Godzilla movies, there is a powerful diorama that makes you feel like you are right in front of the movie scene. Let's stay at "Monster Land"!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of "Godzilla," we will open "Monster Land," a Godzilla collaboration room where monsters that have appeared in past "Godzilla" movies gather together, on Friday, December 12st.
The main room features interior decorations and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and popular monsters, a portion of a full-sized Godzilla that can be seen through the window, and special processing that changes the way it looks when illuminated with light. This room allows you to enjoy a different interior atmosphere at night.
You can also enjoy limited novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks decorated with posters of past Godzilla movies.
