At Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori,” a popular attraction called “Operation Godzilla Interceptor,” the “Awaji GODZILLA Festival 2026 in Spring” will be held for a limited time from Saturday, March 14, 2026 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, allowing not only Godzilla fans from around the world who gather at Nijigen no Mori, but also many more customers to enjoy the world of Godzilla and Japanese culture. During the event, three games will be held for customers who purchase a “Premium Ticket” or “VIP Journey Pass.” There are three games: the “Bow and Arrow Challenge,” which recreates the story of “Operation Godzilla Interception,” the traditional Japanese game “Tosenkyo Game,” and “Kenkenpa,” in which you move rhythmically around a circle drawn on the ground using one foot and then both feet. Those who earn a total of 300 points or more in all games will receive an “Original Japanese Pattern Notebook,” exclusive to Nijigen no Mori, and those who earn less than 300 points will receive an “Original Japanese Pattern Postcard”!<\/span>

What is Godzilla Interception Operation?<\/span><\/h2>\n

“Godzilla Intercept Operation” is a one-of-a-kind entertainment attraction themed around the world’s largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island, allowing visitors to fully experience Godzilla’s might and power. Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center and, through a film-like attraction video produced by Toho, are given an explanation of the “Godzilla Intercept Operation” that unfolds against Godzilla’s appearance on Awaji Island. Afterwards, they take on attractions such as the “Zip Line” and “Godzilla Cell Shooting.” The adjacent Godzilla Museum, the world’s first permanent facility, features spectacular dioramas and other exhibits that bring scenes from the film to life, with the cooperation of Toho Visual Arts Co., Ltd., the company responsible for the special effects art of Godzilla films.<\/span><\/p>\n
