Today, October 10th, marks the 5th anniversary of "Operation Godzilla Interceptor"!

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the opening of Nijigen no Mori's hugely popular attraction, "Operation Godzilla Interceptor"!

"Operation Godzilla," which opened on October 10, 2020, has overcome the COVID-10 pandemic and has now become an attraction that attracts many visitors from both Japan and abroad. To mark its 5th anniversary, we will be implementing various anniversary projects to further explore the world of Godzilla and provide an immersive Nijigen experience.

First up, the design of the original postcard given as a pre-order bonus has been renewed! The new design uses the 5th anniversary key visual, giving you a sense of the sinister purple glow and the power of Godzilla ravaging the earth!

In addition, many other projects are underway as part of the 5th anniversary of "Operation Godzilla Interceptor"! Details will be released as soon as they are decided. Along with the exciting anniversary projects, make the most of your autumn outings at Nijigen no Mori's "Operation Godzilla Interceptor"!

We will be holding various events to commemorate the 5th anniversary of "Operation Godzilla."
The "original postcard" that will be distributed as a bonus for those who pre-order admission tickets for the first installment will feature a new key visual for the attraction, featuring a sinister purple glow and the powerful power of Godzilla, to commemorate the 5th anniversary. A limited number of postcards will be distributed from October 10th.

What is the Godzilla interception operation?

"Godzilla Intercept Operation" is the world's only entertainment attraction where you can fully experience the power and power of Godzilla, with the theme of the world's largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island.Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center, and after receiving an explanation of the "Godzilla interception operation" that unfolds against Godzilla that has appeared on Awaji Island through a movie-like attraction video produced by Toho, Godzilla Cell Shooting" Challenge the attraction.At the world's first permanent "Godzilla Museum", with the cooperation of Toho Visual Art Co., Ltd., which has been responsible for the special effects art of Godzilla movies, there is a powerful diorama that makes you feel like you are right in front of the movie scene. Accommodation “GRAND CHARIOT Big Dipper 135°” collaboration room
Let's stay at "Monster Land"!

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of "Godzilla," we will open "Monster Land," a Godzilla collaboration room where monsters that have appeared in past "Godzilla" movies gather together, on Friday, December 12st.
The main room features interior decorations and tapestries depicting past Godzillas and popular monsters, a portion of a full-sized Godzilla that can be seen through the window, and special processing that changes the way it looks when illuminated with light. This room allows you to enjoy a different interior atmosphere at night.
You can also enjoy limited novelties that can only be obtained here, such as acrylic blocks decorated with posters of past Godzilla movies.

Overview of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”

Since 2008, Pasona Group has collaborated with local governments and local stakeholders on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been working on its own regional revitalization project by attracting various human resources. In 2013, the "Awaji Manga/Anime Island Project" was adopted as part of the "Private Business Planning and Proposal for Prefectural Awajishima Park" publicly invited by Hyogo Prefecture. Together with Hyogo Prefecture, we are promoting regional revitalization projects by attracting tourists.
